Ultimate Fighters does for slots what Street Fighter did (and still does do) for video games, in fact the styling is shockingly similar. At first glance this slot appears to offer just three reels, but that's not the case because each of the icons revolves independently which means there are effectively nine reels with eight pay lines. This three by three icon grid is surrounded by a dark fighting themed background complete with the Ultimate Fighters trophy.

There's ten ultimate fighters which resemble characters from Street Fighter, thankfully they been left nameless (probably for licensing reasons). Other icons include the gold trophy scatter and ultimate fighters motif. Some of these icons show off the special moves of some of the fighters when a winning combination is made, this is a nice touch although the graphics do look pre Playstation era.

Betting Options and More Functions

Wagers are particularly impressive, even for Playtech who are renowned for competitive options. Players can wager pennies, pounds or even hundreds of pounds if they so wish with a betting range which crosses between the 0.01 and 120 extremes (bets available in other currencies).

Three golden Buddha icons awards the bonus round which plays on a new screen. This presents two fighters who do battle, you play a game of rock, paper, scissors to win instant cash amount. This should have been the most impressive part of the slot and it's just a shame it isn't activated more frequently.

The styling is close enough to the original Street Fighter series that it relates to my misspent youth. The features are very adult orientated though (features wise), which is exactly what's called for on a video slot. So whether your favorite fighter was Ken, or Chunlei, we are certain you'll find a suitable substitute on this slot and hopefully win a few dollars in the process.
