Fruit Salad is a 3 reel (non-progressive), 3-payline, Microgaming Classic Slot. It comes with a wildSymbol and has a maximum jackpot win of $25,000.
Fruit Salad, the staple product of every home economics class, is now the inspiration behind a classic three reel slot from Microgaming. It may have a brash theme but players will appreciate the wild icon and 3,000 coin jackpot which can payout a rather fruity $25,000!
Fruit Salad uses one of the most garish color schemes we’ve seen in a while. The logo is well designed and uses a combination of suitably colored fruits. The problems start with the background which is psychedelic to say the least.
The reel icons are equally as bright, so at least the designers are consistent. They include red bar, purple bar, yellow bar, zested oranges, pomegranates and fruit bowl icons. As there are three paylines each win is shown by a red line on the reels and at the same time by a flashing value on the paytable. This may not be as visually pleasing as animated graphics but does serve the purpose well.
The 0.25 to $15 bet range can be adjusted to suit your needs. There are a number of different coin values to choose from with a maximum of three lines to select per spin. Just remember that the largest jackpot of 5,000 coins can only be won when using all three lines.
The Fruit Bowl icon is wild for every other symbol and pays the slots largest prizes when present on any active payline (see paytable for allotted prizes).
The betting range, prizes and ease of use are all plus points but we can’t help to think that the color scheme is just too bright. If you can get past this, or just wear a pair of sunglasses, we think this is a decent classic slot.
