Roll up, roll up to the Big Top! Yes, you guessed it, the slot game is based on a circus theme, and is extremely light-hearted and fun. It was developed by Microgaming, one of the front runners of the online casino game development market, and currently at the top of their game.
Having said that, this strikes me very much as a slot title either for complete novices, or people just starting out with multi-line slots. It does have everything that you need to have a good time, but it's lacking some of the features and complexity found in other Microgaming titles.
Perhaps "lacking" is a strong word, because it's certainly loads of fun, and it's also possible to win a fairly substantial stack of cash playing this game. For example, while the maximum you can wager is just nine coins, you can bet up to a dollar on each one. And when you consider that the jackpot is 5,000 coins, you can see that this game has teeth.
Let's look at what it does have. It's a five reel game, and you can activate up to 9 different pay lines.
All of the imagery used in the game has to do with circus life: lions in hats, elephants on bicycles and balancing seals are all represented here, plus the high cards typical to this kind of game.
The clown symbol is wild, and can be used to complete any pay line, but does not act as a multiplier. You can substitute for anything except the scatter symbol which in this game is a monkey.
Three or more monkeys anywhere on the reels nets you an instant win, but doesn't trigger free spins.
All in all, a fun game, and a good place to start to get comfortable with slots before moving on to more challenging things.
