You’ll join a wizard within his castle, yep the name of the slot is literally represented on the reels. This includes stone block reels, candle lit archways, book shaped buttons and the Wizard which watches from the side.

Each spin prompts the wizard to point his wand toward the reels, causing them to orate wildly until each on comes to a stop. These reels contain a variety of different icons which all relate to wizardry and magic. These include books, sand timers, hats, earth, air, fire and water icons plus scrolls, pestles/mortars and wild icons.

Coin bets range from 0.02 to $1 which combined with multiple coins per line means total bets of 0.02 to $45 are available. There’s not an option for automatic plays, but you can quickly select all lines and spin the reels at the same time using the inclusive bet max button.

The Wizards spell book is his bible, full of useful incantations in the mythical world of wizards. On this slot the spell book logo is able to replace any other symbol (excluding scatter and bonus) to create more winning combinations.

The scatter symbol is the only one which pays in any position. Three will net you 5 coins, four wins 50 coins and five wins 500 coins which impressive when you consider they can appear in any position.

The bonus round is triggered when earth, air, fire and water combine on screen. This loads six floating scrolls from which you choose to reveal a prize. You only get to choose one, which is a little lame in gameplay terms but can still pay well.

Our Take on Wizards Castle
