Aztec Slots combines the traditional sites, sounds and objects of the South American past with a top of the line video slot. The five reels take up most of the screen with two thin columns of carved stone flanking either side of the slots reels. The golden idol symbol is wild and is marked as such. It can appear in any position on any reel and stands in for all symbols except the scatter and bonus.This is by far the most active feature on the slot, and therefore the most useful.

Free spins are hard to come by because you’ll need four to five icons to win them. Four scattered icons awards just three free spins whilst five awards a much more respectable 30 free spins.

The Trail of the Supreme bonus game is unlocked when three bonus icons appear on the reels in a row. You are greeted as ‘the gifted one’ and are asked to use your special powers to unlock the tomb of treasures, this sounded great to us!

There are three rounds to the game which require you to select the correct path to the centre of the maze. This is fairly difficult to achieve because the mazes flash intermittently, after the first round it’s based more on luck than judgement (unless you’re rain man or very spatially aware). The largest prize is awarded if you complete all three mazes and you get to keep your bonus winnings even if you fail after the first round.

It may not have a mainstream theme but we feel that makes Aztec slots unique, granted there are others in this niche but very few of them have bonus games to rival the above.
