Archipelago now has two things named after it, the first is of course a group of islands, and the second is the hugely popular 5 reel slot from Realtime gaming. The slot does follow the island theme closely, drawing inspiration with a sea blue colour scheme and themed reel symbols. Even the sound effects and bonus rounds are island related.

Archipelago Slot Theme

Archipelago has a mystical feel to it similar to the lost city of Atlantis, the symbols are a mixture of colored magical cubes, Golden chalices, hour glasses, fountains, the Archipelago symbol and wild card symbol. We are not sure how CTXM came up with the name, but it fits the theme perfectly.

The glowing reels have a hint of animation and the music works well with the theme, everything is a little more animated when any of the four bonus rounds play. We’ll get onto those later.

The ‘Spirits of Nature’ feature is started when three or more Archipelago symbols appear on the reels. This bonus round transports you to any of the four themed islands, named Wind world, Forest World, Crystal World and Electric Word. Despite having odd sounding names the features on each are pretty decent and award the best prizes of the features on offer.
