Roamin’ Gnome was developed by Cryptologic on 17th April 2008. The game has a ‘Travel Around the World’ theme as well as many mythical creatures right out of a fairy story. It is a 5 reel, 30 play-line game which promises to keep the player captivated with every spin.

The coin denominations start at$0.01 and increase all the way up to $20, with the maximum possible bet on a single spin set at $600. The regular symbols are the passport, suitcase, camera and glass globe. Other regular icons feature the gnome positioned on the flag of different countries namely UK, Mexico, France, Japan, Russia and Australia.

The maximum payout of 5000 coins is awarded when five gnomes appear in a single enabled play-line. The second highest payout of 2500 coins occurs when there are five passport symbols in one play-line. Also, in this game, only one win is possible per play-line. If there is more than one winning combination, the value of the maximum win is paid out.

Wild Symbol:

In Roamin’ Gnome, the wild symbol is the Gnome. It must be noted that the gnome does not substitute the scatter symbol, and will not trigger the bonus feature.

Scatter Symbol:

In Roamin’ Gnome, the scatter symbol is the plane. The plane symbol acts as a multiplier, and when it appears on any of the reels, it multiplies the regular winnings by 1x for two plane symbols, and up to 100x for five plane symbols appearing in one spin.

Bonus Feature:

This game has two different bonus features. The Roaming Gnome Bonus Feature which occurs when the roamin’ gnome appears above a reel on which the wild symbol is displayed on the top of the game. This makes all the positions into gnome symbols. The second bonus feature is the Holiday Bonus Feature which is triggered when three or more scatter symbols appear anywhere during the spin. This bonus feature rewards the player with free spins or free credits. The player is asked to select three destinations for the gnome to visit, and each location reveals free spins and/or free credits. The winnings are added to the regular wins.
