About Juju Jack

Do you sometimes wish you had some magical help to win big on online slots? Perhaps a Voodoo witch to push the right button for you and boost your casino balance? Well, if you get lucky on Cryptologic’s new, Voodoo-themed release, “Juju Jack”, you may win up to the massive 2000x maximum win.

“Juju Jack” is a five-reel, 25-payline video slot that offers quite a lot, but also features some downsides. For example, its bizarre and, in a way, cheerful theme that engages appealing, bright coloring does not really get a chance to shine because the graphics are done a bit sloppily – its characters are not easy to distinguish because they are all of similar color and some of them look somewhat smeared because their lines are not distinctive.

The main symbols of the slot are witch doctors, alligators, zombies, headless chicken, voodoo dolls, etc., and it also involves a range of special features, including random voodoo re-spins, expanding wilds, free spins, and a bonus game that may bring you instant prizes or more free games.

When it comes to “Juju Jack’s” availability to players, it’s extremely good, as the slot offers a whole range of bet amounts for players to choose from. The coin denominations start from as little as 1 cent and move up to $10, which means that the maximum bet on the biggest number of lines is as high as $250. This implies that the slot aims at all types of players and enables them to enjoy its interesting and enjoyable theme.

Special Features:

A remark one may have about “Juju Jack’s” base game is that the spins are rather stingy, as the wins are scarce and even when you hit some, they are usually not big enough to cover for your bet. However, the situation is different with its special features, thanks to which the game’s win rate is tolerable.

The first of these features is the expanding wild, which appears quite often on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5, turning the whole reel wild, and it may also sometimes bring a nice prize or two.

Then, there’s the voodoo re-spin feature, which is triggered randomly by Jack himself, only on reels 2, 3, and 4. What’s great about this feature is that it’s not necessarily only one reel that can re-spin; it’s possible that Jack will bewitch more than one, so you can enjoy some great wins! Also, there’s the best feature in the game – the Bonus feature, activated when bonus voodoo dolls appear on reels 2, 3, and 4. During this feature, you will be taken to another screen, where you need to pin, glue, stick, draw or apply any other of the offered type of tortures on the poor doll, and earn either instant cash or free spins on each torment. This is a truly rewarding feature in which you can also earn additional free spins, 7 of them, whenever you hit the bonus symbol again on reels 2, 3, and 4.

All in all, “Juju Jack” does deserve a recommendation, if you like games that are a bit crazy. There are some decent prizes to be won, although not in the base game, and the graphics could be somewhat more sophisticated, but the game’s true quality lies in its features, especially the bonus round, which is interesting, engaging and rewarding at the same time.

Its colourful and looks really rather funky, but it didn't really appeal to me in terms of graphics and sound - It's supposed to be kinda scary/voodoo/spooky, and I'm just not sure it succeeds there. The base paytable is better than average, but certainly not outstanding, and the two features aren't all that amazing either. Still, the 7 free spins which are triggered by voodoo dolls on 2,3,4 do retrigger fairly frequently in my experience, and I did see a win of over 100x bet in a relatively small number of spins, so I do have hope for the game, I just don't think its one of Crypto's best efforts.
