About Battle for Olympus

In light of recent movie releases based on famous Greek myths, which are known and adored by so many of us, Cryptologic has introduced the theme into its own house, and presented us a great new game that will keep us entertained for a long while – “Battle for Olympus” – a title which will see a divine clash bring us money and Cerberus boost our casino balance in a wink.

Make no mistake, this is not a flawless edition in which money springs from each reel. No, but it’s a highly recommendable 5-reel, 50-payline slot which has a lot to offer, both in entertainment and rewarding aspect of the game. This game features some of the most famous ancient Greek deities, such as brothers Zeus and Hades, feisty Athens, Helios’s coach and Hermes’s helmet. They are all accompanies by excellent, theme-adequate sounds, and the only thing one may see as a downside here is the quality of graphics in some symbols, which are either not clearly drawn or the symbol seems a bit blurry. However, the graphics in general are colorful and rather appealing, so you should be able to enjoy the game despite these little downsides.

In addition to the regular symbols, “Battle for Olympus” also includes a number of special features, such as Cerberus wilds, Athens scatters, game logo bonus symbols, which trigger a second screen bonus feature, where you need to choose sides and see how much you win. But to win any of these, you need to pick your bet amount by selecting the number of lines (it is highly recommendable to opt for the maximum 50 lines, in order to boost your winning odds), and choosing your preferred coin amount, which ranges from $0.01 to $10. This range will surely provide you with the amount that can fit your pocket and enable you to enjoy the play stress free.

Special Features:

In terms of special features, “Battle for Olympus” truly has a lot to offer. There are no free spins, that’s true, but the game’s other features offer plenty of chances to win as it is. Here, you can enjoy the prizes brought to you by generous Cerberus wilds, which appear quite often and multiply all prizes by three when they take part in a winning combination.

Then, there are also scatters, which multiply your bet amount when three or more of them appear anywhere on the reels. And finally, we have a bonus feature, which is triggered when the game logo symbols appear on reels 1, 3, and 5. This is when you’ll be taken to a second screen where you’ll have to choose your hero in the battle for Olympus – Zeus or Hades, and show your skill, as you’ll need to see that the tack beneath the warriors is lined up as close as possible underneath your chosen deity. Each attack will bring you a nice cash prize, and four perfect tack lineups will bring you a grand award and skip the 5th attack.

The general impression left by this slot is an excellent one, mostly because it involves both chance and skill, enabling players to partly count on themselves, and not only on the slot’s RNG.
