Wonder Woman remains one of the most popular comic book heroes of all time, the planned blockbuster 2011 film proves that. This year has also seen the launch of a brand new Wonder Woman themed video slot. Wonder Woman Slot Theme

This isn’t Cryptologic’s first foray into DC comic slots and they have drawn on past experiences to ensure the design is as good as it can be. Like other bonus bet slots the background changes when activated. During normal play it shows a city landscape and when the bonus bet is activated turns into a collage of stars and stripes to match Wonder Woman’s fetching outfit.

The reels offer a mixture of traditional (with a Wonder Woman twist) and themed icons. They include 10, J, Q, K, A, City Hall, her invisible jet, Ares and various bonus icons. Each spin includes an arpeggio sound whilst wins and bonus rounds set off other super hero sound effects.

Cryptologic has installed their standard DC button layout beneath the slot which at first glance looks a little busy. Each button serves its purpose though and bets can be placed by deciding just two options, the bet and number of lines. The combination of these two options creates a betting range of 1 penny to $/£/€1,200 with plenty of different options between.

Wonder Woman Slot Features

The Wonder Woman wild symbol doubles any wins it takes part in. This symbol only appears on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 and cannot replace scatter or bonus symbols. It has a part to play during free spins which are triggered when three or more wilds appear simultaneously.

During free spins Wonder Woman appears and awards Wonder Wilds which remain in position for five spins. This greatly increases the chances of winning, especially when two or three wonder wilds are present at the same time.

Two Wonder Woman scatters or more awards an instant payout based on the line bet whilst three or more triggers the Ares bonus round. Ares attacks Wonder Woman twice and then sends brain munching zombies after her. If she defeats them all the a prize 100 times the triggering line bet is paid.
