Funny Pirate Theme

Funny Pirate is backed by a pirate ship sailing on the crystal blue sea with a desert island in the background. It also features a rather odd looking pirate, who looks like a goblin crossed with Captain hook.

Clicking on the payout button loads a new screen which features every icon and the payouts attributed to each winning combination. These icons include parrots, cutlases, cannons, pirate ships, treasure chests, maps, the funny pirate and slot logos.

Betting Options and More Functions

The slot uses four reels and allows players to use up to 11 paylines with a maximum of 5 coins on each line. As coin values are fixed at $1, players are able to wager anything from $1 to $55 per spin.

Three or more Funny Pirate logos on a single payline will launch the bonus game. This involves choosing grog to drink which will in turn award bonus winnings. Once the round has finished you are returned to the reels.

The round was very simple, but did pay well. It’s downfall is that it was very hard to trigger compared to other video slots.

Our Take on Funny Pirate

We’re not sure what’s funny about the pirate, apart from the way he looks, which combined with the simple gameplay pitches this slot in the ‘good but could do better’ category. It does offer a grog drinking bonus round, but this is difficult to trigger. All in all we’d say Funny Pirate is worth a try, but we can’t help but think there are better pirate themed slots out there.
