CSKA is in excellent form and they are currently second in the Russian league, and have great ambitions
in Europe this season. In the last nine games they have all nine victories. Since they keep the entire team
from last season, they are now one of the favorites for title. The team is very good this season and most
players are standard in the Russian team.In last few years,CSKA is standard in the Champions League but,
this year they play in UEFA Cup.
Deportivo is not playing at the level of the previous seasons and in the UEFA Cup came from Intertoto Cup.
Many new players came in to the club and it seems that they have a problem to fit. Valeron is the most
creative team player, but he is far from what he once was. Team will not be able to count on the injured
defensive players Pablo Amo and Antonio Barragan as well as the attacker Riki, who has been suspended.

Schalke wants to ransom for the elimination from the Champions League and to try to conquer the UEFA Cup
this season. They will also continue to fight for the title in Germany and this will be a very hard season for them.
The team was started this season poorly in the domestic championship but, later showed a better game
and they are in good position to join in the fight for the title in the domestic championship. In last 4 games they
didn't win, but in this game they want to win and in that way start the season in the UEFA Cup.
On the other hand, PSG is invested a lot of in the team. But, the team is not showing a good game. In last few
games the defense proved to be the worse part of the team and create a lot of mistakes in games. Although
they are located in the middle of the table in the French league, they need to play much better in Europe if they
want to expect good results.

Galatasaray had many problems with injuries since the beginning of the season. Injured are very important
players such as Umit Karan, Arda Turan, Kewel, Barroso and Mehmet Topal which is causing a big problems
in every game. However, Topal is now recovered and the team is much stronger. Mehmet Topal is a key
player that establishes a balance between attack and defense, and his absence was a big problem for the
team. Team starts to play better. The atmosphere at the stadium Ali Sami Zen will be great and host will
attack Olympiakos from the beginning.
Olompiakos won five of the last six games in the national championship, and this game will be a real test.
Coach Valverde has a lot of problems before this match. Captain Djordjevic and Dudu are definitely out
of the team while Solitidis is still uncertain. Solitidis is the only defense-midfielder and his absence will leave
a lot of space for rival players.
Galatasaray will have all the key players available and their potential is really excellent. Olympiakos will
play without some of regular players and will try to threaten the hosts through counterattack.
