Mondoooooooo!!!!
I LOVE the winter Olympics alot more then the summer games. The crazy snowboarding events, speed skating and ofc hockey.
Canada should win the Gold in hockey, they not only have the best team the Olympics are in there home country.

I agree Tony, the winter sports are so much more fun. I like the speed skating (Go Apollo), figure skating, downhill skiing, and ski jump. I heard there was a luge competitor that died today...so sad. Who would ever want to practice that sport? It looks so frightening to me.

The Winter Olympics are much better the the summer games for sure. I made a post about the guy who dies during practice. So dangerous but yet that's what these athletes live to do. Read here to find out what happened to the athlete from the Country of Georgia. Tony

the sports i really look forward to watch is: "pod"? skiing, halfpipe, skicross (new for this olympics). speed skiing? and ofc, hockey! tony, it would be crap if canada didnt win, but theres some good teams out there, like sweden, finland, usa, russia... medalwise for sweden, i think its a womans olympics, and if we get medals i think they much will be about all the coutry skiing events, maby one or two for downhill. i wish for sweden vs canada in the hockey finals

I too love those extreme events.
Look out for a guy named Shawn White from the US in all those events, he is the best in the world at the extreme sports.

im really excited the hockey starts tnite (well womans have)
except the usual comentators, mikael renberg is a commentator, maby u know his name tony. a former flyer. former captain in tampa bay. brodeur got the calder trophy just before renbergs nose. lindros/lecrair/renberg was "the legion of doom"
anyways, really cool to have a legend commenting about the games.
in one way i hope canada pulls it through and win on home court
on the other hand, its a big preasure.
hokey tournament gonna be _the_ sh** for hockey lovers
-----
usa vs russia for 3rd price canada vs sweden for first.
finland and slovakia have great teams, but on paper we should beat them
