Hi Racing Fans,
One of our local tracks in Chicago is Arlington Park. It is a beautiful track that was rebuilt after a fire. This track has to be one of my favorite places to go.
A very close friend of mine bet at Arlington Park on Sunday. It was the 6th race. My friend could not resist boxing a trifecta for 40.00. His hunch....strictly the names on this one.....Lipstick and Avenging Ava (my name).
He won that race....and pocketed 400 bucks!!!! Now why didnt the birdies tell me...they are mad cuz i have not been feeding them!
This is one hunch that paid off!

See..sometimes hunch's pay off..i bet you are stocked up on bird food now so you will get them hunch's ahead of time for yourself..LOL..great story.

Cool story! I do things like that all the time when i'm on a losing streak. Two months ago or so, i went to my online horse betting site and took $30 and played 300 straight .10 superfectas, all numbers that meant something to me, birthdays! Played ten numbers or so at every track that had the .10 supers, just hoping to get lucky. I just happen to catch one of the races as they were hitting the line at Gulfstream. I had 8164 straight... the 8 one by five, the one was an easy second... and the four and six hit the line together. I ran to the computer to see the odds cause it looked like the six just got up for third... and if so i hit it. Well, the 8 was 30/1 ... the 1 was 11/1... the 6 got up at 15/1 and the 4 was 5/1.... i just about crapped my pants. I knew it was a huge score! It payed $40,000.... for $2 bet. I got back $2,005 for a dime!
Hunch plays and just betting numbers can be the best way sometimes, i could tell you so many stories of big wins and near wins that i have had that would make your head spin. lol they made mine!
Tony... i'm sure you have a few too my friend!?!? lol
