Every time I try to type a message I can only see maybe the first 3 paragraphs in the reply window. Any lines beyond that pop up for a split second when I start typing then disappear below the window. Obviously this makes it extremely difficult to type or edit text beyond that last visible line. The only thing I can do is type my message in a different text editor, then copy and paste. And even then, editing beyond the last visible line becomes almost impossible.

Anybody else experience this?

It might be a bug in the forum software itself which can only be fixed by the original coders, but if it can be fixed that would be great.

Bradwill

I have been expereincing this that you speak of since I started posting over a year ago.

I have no idea what causes it.

Perhaps Zuga can explain why this is so, as I just do the best I can with it. I am so used to it, it doesnt bother me anymore.  Smiley Smiley

It bothers the hell out of me.

But I can live with it if I have to.

Hi Brad,

I too have the same problem. I can not use IE when on site or that will happen. I suggest you use Firefox and you won't have that problem again. It can be very frustrating particularly when writing a long post.

Try that trick and i am sure you will be fine!

Must be certain versions of IE then. Or certain platforms maybe; mac, pc, etc. I know explorer is full of bugs, but then so are the rest usually - they just come up in different ways.

I'll try firefox though, thanks.

I use Firefox. So far never had an issue using  this site. Zuga's right about IE's bugs. Its also notorious for welcoming virus'. If you don't prefer Firefox, try Opera. Its another goody
