At Full Tilt Poker there is a Guinness World Record attempt for the largest tournament ever.
There are currently 32,797 (max is 50,000) people registered with a guaranteed prize pool of $500,000. Top 7,500 get paid (come 7500th and you get $15) and buy in is a mere $5. They are also running satelites for as little as 55c.
I'm gonna try and get some money on there so I can play.
....and its so huge - seating will take 15 minutes.
It's game on at 15:05 ET Sunday 19th July

i waited to long to register and missed out on both of them. didn't think they would limit registration when trying to break a record, silly me!

I was outside the paying places but top 25% - cant remember my exact position. It was a good game though. Everyone played quite tight at the table I was at and then they moved me. I was doing well too until then.
Ah well - next time!
