What are your two favourite cards to start a hand with?

I love 96 suited - they always seem to hit or A9 suited.

My favorite is AA.  Seems to me people love stuff like J9s.  It combines people's love of sooted cards and face cards, oo pretty!

A, K in any suits seem to get me the win 99% of the time, but a lucky first two for me are, believe it or not, 9, 2. I dont know what it is but I'll always stay for the flop with those two cards, and more times than not, I get two 9's, or two 2's, on the flop. It's crazy but thats the way it goes for me. Next time you get those cards try it out and see what happens.

Yes I've seen that a lot.  Keep em and people call you a fish.  Dump em and you kick yourself.

I must admit to also liking K rag suited.  Hit so many times with that for the flush but on the other hand I hate people who keep any two suited cards - like 72 suited - winds me up to the hilt.

My favorite hand that is lucky for me is Q9. Good hand to get that str8. I am cursed when it comes to the slick hand (AK). When i get that hand i say ohhhhh noooo i will surely lose...and in alot of cases i really do. Of course the cadillac hand is AA. That goes without sayin!!

Would be interesting to hear how many peeps lost with AA and what they lost to.
