Hey folks,
Some guy just told the entire table that he is king and will "eat us all". He also said that he was going to win. I told him he had a big head!
He had about 10k in chips to everybody elses 4k to 5k. Over the next 3 hands he lost his chips and was knocked out after going all in with 24 off. To say that his comments made him look like a fool is a bit of an understatement.
I do like to chat at the poker table but do you think that "winding up" players pushes them to tilt? I've seen it quite a few times personally but have you? Was it you that pushed them to tilt?
Im intrigued as to your thoughts and views about this.

Hi Blue,
Comments like that really don't get to me...for some reason i always invision its some little punk playing with daddy's account.
The one comment made to me that i will never forget and DID make me tilt was when i played in a big tourney. I was in first place. I took a huge hit from another player...it ended up costing me the lead. It put him in first place...his comment was..."now I'M wearing the fancy pants"!!!! Omggggggggg i was insane.....not to mention it was a bad beat.
I couldn't wait to nail this guy. A couple hands later i had pp 7's..i raised...he matched my bet to the river...going all in. I had three 7's....he had three jacks and knocked me out!
I was tilting like a leaning tower of Pisa!

OMG - that so sucks big time. I think I would have tilted too at that comment. So damn cocky with a bad beat to boot. Did he go on to win? I doubt it very much as they rarely do.

I never looked back...i don't know where he ever placed in that tourney. I logged off my puter...paced...smoked...rocked back and fourth in a corner...pulled my hair...ate a half gallon of ice cream.....screamed...called him every name in the book...and then.....went to bed!
