Bankroll: 16 euro
I aware switched to NL10 and got on a downswing. I cant say I am steaming, maybe some decisions werent good, but I am not playing bad, I think. Last swing began with my KK rivered by QQ and went on with not getting cards and not hitting flops. None of my bluffs worked out for me and so now I am at 16 euro. However, I am thinking positv. You have to handle the swings in NL Hold'em.

Damn that sucked. Would he have called if you had raised pre-flop? Was he a calling station?
Unlucky though nonetheless. Well done with the bankroll though.

he would have folded if I raised. I think I was in early position on a six-handed table so I decided just to call. After he bet 900 on a 600 pot it was obvious for me that he had a 8 or a smaller pair as he would have raised me pre-flop with 99+. So I was sure to be a huge favourit with A8. I read the situation well and simply got unlucky.

hello guys!
i am so sorry I didn't post for such a long time. I was really busy as I started with my diploma and didnt play much. Unfortunately I also lost that 20 Euros I started with and was kind of ashamed of this fact.
However i reloaded 60 euros and it went well so far. My bankroll at mansion poker grew to 204 euros!!! And I also got to 38$ at my pokerstars account out of nothing. I took part at the 100k WCOOP partitipants freeroll and won 8 dollars. With 5$ I went to a NL10 table and 1/2 hour later I had 35 $ after I won a couple of huge hands.
I append a graph of my last 2000 hands in which I had an winning average of 50 BB/100 hands which is actually unnormally huge(a very good stat is 10BB/100hands).
Yesterday and the day before it was just crazy. I got good cards and my opponents just paid me out a lot of times. A lot of fish was out there and I just had to throw my angle inside the see.
I only had 1 bad beat for 30 dollars in which I flopped a set and my opponent went all in with a got shot a got it on the river.
I have to calculate my correct bankroll with taking in account that 20 euros I deposited and lost first. It must be at over 200 euros right now.
So I am pretty glad it went that way. The difficult parts starts now:
I have to apply myself not to lose the winnings!

Welcome back Alexforth.
I know how difficult it is to find time to play/post when you are studying. Glad you are back though.
Sorry you lost the 20€ but you seem to be doing ok since you deposited again. Nothing to be ashamed of! I just had to deposit again on one site because the fish are the worst ever on there.
Your stats are good and if you continue that way, you'll be withdrawing mega moolah soon.
Applying yourself not to lose your winnings is probably tougher than trying to make the money in the first place. I wish you luck.
Do keep as posted as and when you can.

What I can say? I had a good week, I think.
My Bankroll must be at 300 Euros right now, as I won the LCB Freeroll at Winner Poker and with 65 Euros first prize and am at 235 Euros at Mansion Poker. I won a 50 Dollar Pot at Omaha I append a screenshot from.
I am still playing NL10, multitabling at 5-6 short handed tables right now, sometimes I swith to NL20/PLO20 single or two table action, or to NL10 Heads Up Tables.
WIth 300 euros in my bankroll I have about 45 stacks for NL10 games and about 22 stacks for NL20. I think it is too early to switch to NL20 on a daily basis, which I will do with about 400 Euros, I think.

hey guys!
I didnt write for a while, so let me tell what was happening the last 2 weeks or so: not much. I cashed out about 240 euros from mansion poker and deposited 200 euros at party poker. The reason is: the rake. Mansion poker takes 1 cent per 15cent in the pot on the PL/NL tables up to PL/NL50, which is way to much: 6.5% is much more then the max. 5% other rooms are offering. E.g. partypoker so I switched to it.
I didnt play much and I am at about 310$ at party poker which would mean a plus of round 20$ for 3-4 short sessions which is pretty good. However, there is no big boost or downswing to talk about.
I cant play a lot cause of the diploma and the family. So thats it for the moment.
I am thinking about playing the Battle of the Boards tourney, but cant tell you now.

Welcome back Alex. Glad you cashed out some money - makes it all worth while. Sounds like you're doing ok already if you are up by $110. Looking forward to hearing your playing news when you get the time, diploma and family permitting! blue

the question is how you count it: after I started blogging I deposited 80 euros(20+60). Now I have about 360 Euros. So in that period I am up about 250-280 Euros.

I think you must count it from the beginning then. So you are up a nice little sum for sure. blue

I was playing two middle long session yesterday and today and am up 65$ in about 2500 Hands for this two days. In November in sum I am up ca. 175$ in ca. 8400 Hands which are 18BB/100hands for this middle long session. SO I have been doing pretty well in november so far.
I hope I can hold the stats in the >10BB/100 region and boost my bankroll at party poker to 500$, which are 125$ more to go. I am going to switch to NL25 after I reached this mark. Buts thats future(hopefully)...now I gotta worry about playing well in NL10 cash games and maybe take 1-2 shots in MTT(multi table tournements).

hey
yesterday was a little crazy.
I've played about 1800 hands and ende with +15$ in poker and -15$ in roulette, which I tilted away at the end.
The story: I played well and got up to +55$ in 1500 hands and actually wanted to stop, but there was this one hand. I had AK and a very very lose player limped and then reraised me in UTG1. I reraised him all in for 30$ and covered his 15$. Showdown came and he sucked me out with A8. I was still +35 and should have stopped there or maybe stand up and take a break, however I tried to get my money back, which always goes the wrong way. I played more and lost every pot against this lucker. So I lost 10$ more at that table and 10$ with a nut flush against a flopped full house on another one. So +15$ left for the session and I should have stopped there but I couldnt untill I lose the winnng or get something back. So I took the 15$ winnings and played roulette - the end of the story is told already.
This one was typical for me, I should have have stopped after I lost this huge pot but was still in a good plus for the session. At least I should have taken a break, drink a glas of water or eat a bread. I should remember this the next time I come into this kind of situation.
So I am at 385$ at party poker. 450$ would have sound better - this is what I would have had if this fish didnt hit the 8. But this happend, this is poker and 415 would sound better too. This is what I would have if I stopped after the bad beat. Will try to learn for the next time.

Alex - carrying on after a bad beat has its ups and downs but as long as you don't tilt, then all is good.
You're still doing pretty well though.
