Hi Poker Players,
This week, satellites started for the Absolute Poker College Challenge, a popular recurring tournament promotion in which AP will award the winner $10,000 for tuition. Players can qualify via daily freerolls and micro-stakes cash tournaments, with the top nine players in each moving on to a freeroll the following day.
The top fifteen in that freeroll advance to the Weekly Sunday Main Event Qualifier, the first of which is this coming Sunday. The top nine finishers in that qualify for the College Challenge Main Event. Over $30,000 in prizes are at stack in the Main Event and the top six players will be flown to a live final table in Los Angeles to compete for the big bucks, a custom championship ring, and a feature in Bluff magazine. The tournament is open to students at accredited U.S. institutions of higher learning.
