Soda - thanks for the confidence boost.  I tell ya - poker just aint what it used to be.

I got my Aces cracked with QK off- all in preflop too.

I would be grateful if you were there to help kick some ass.

Thanks Soda

hopefully  i  wont be able to play in your tourny, i have qualified for partypokers 300k guaranteed   at 6.40pm bst. and im hoping to still be in it at 9pm!!  Wink there's only 460 in it so far and 60th gets over $1000 dollars. winner $75,000. that's what dreams are made of. i will be delirious if i come 60th. makes it even better i didn't have to pay a penny to play, as i qualified through two rounds to get there. anyways wish me luck, i will probably need all i can get.   Smiley

Hi dananza,

That sounds a pretty awesome game to be in - Im amazed you've not posted about it before as that is some achievement.

In a good way, I hope you won't be playing too.  I should mention that our clocks went back an hour last night so we are no longer on BST.  I suggest you checkout your game an hour before the due time (just to be safe).

460 is not a huge amount of people and 60th for $1000 is definitely "doable".  I wish you all the very best of luck that you can get.  I hope we dont see you at our game (in the nicest possible way) and I expect you to post about it and let us know how you got on.....even if you didnt win anything, its nice to know.

Best of luck.

sure i will,  on party poker, they have a daily uk tourny at 6pm bst. top 10 qualify to the next round, which is $15 to pay in (if u don't qualify) there was 790 in the semi, top 50 get a seat in the final, which i did, now im in the final  which would be $220 to pay in.
just wondering what would u guys do if you had a choice? not enter the tourny in collect the $220, or let it ride and hope you get a payout?? (after all i did not pay a penny)

If you were auto registered, you will not be able to collect the $220 if you de-register (unregister?)...leave the tourney.  Were you auto reg'd?

I would stay in the tourney if it was me.  If you can get that far without paying a cent, you clearly are a good player.

Stick it out, play your best and be patient.  I made it in a tourney with 4000 plus players to top 8 - I played 17 hands.  So patience for those top hands is a must.

Let us know what you decide to do.
