Hello Amie,
Thank you for writing to Windows Live Hotmail Customer Support. I am Lotiz and I gather that you are concerned about the message you have received. I realize that this may have caused you inconvenience and I understand how important it is to address your concern immediately.
Amie, please forward a copy of the questionable message, including the full message headers. Specifically, we need an unedited copy of the message that includes the X-originating IP. This will help us determine the message's true source and find out what actions may be available for us to take against the sender.
To forward messages with full headers, follow these steps:
. For Windows Live Hotmail
1. In the Message List, right-click the message, and then click View source.
Note: This will not work if you click the message body in the reading pane or in full message view.
2. Copy the contents of the Notepad file that opens.
3. Paste the contents into a new message, and then send the new message to
abuse@hotmail.com.
We appreciate your continued support as we strive to provide you with the highest quality service available. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
Lotiz S.
