what did you expect the White House to say?  Thanks for making a more open and honest world to live in?  Why don't they fix the leakability.  Who's in charge of guarding that information?  They should be fired from their job!

I saw so much WRONG in the University I used to work for.  And I questioned it, but didn't "leak" it to anyone but the proper University officials.  They are still there.  I'm not.  It's the way of the world, and it is just wrong.  The government is just as bad as those casinos who demand you follow the rules, but can change them at any time without notice and don't follow them themselves.  I wish they'd all just be honest and deal with things/people like they expect or want things/people to deal with them.

What I think is kind of funny is that if the government would have just said...nonsense!!!..and moved on, most people would still think like tinmanfan and this whole thing would have washed away like everything else.

With every action that is taken to bring him down, more and more people start reading and are getting curious as to why all the action. What are they trying to hide?

Facebook has now almost 800.000 followers and growing by the minute and that is only one site. I don't get the feeling that people are looking to find information on how to build a bomb or who are we invading next. It is more like finding answers to questions we have had for a long time.

New news on wikileaks- they've made an "insurance" file with all kinds of gosh-darn-awful even worse leaks and files they haven't released but that would be just as or more damaging than what they leaked the other day.  If things progress, they'll release the password so everyone can open the insurance file.  They created this file several months back, and so far around 10,000 people have the file downloaded and are hoping they don't have to get the password, and hoping that they do get the password.

Note that the picture is of me, in Obama's inaugural parade, "obamatized" to reflect his campaign advertising theme!  I think it would be awesome if that got some wiki-leaki-likei attention!

All the president's emails

In a unique experiment in democratic transparency, Barack Obama – a BlackBerry owner, and the first American president to use email while in office – has agreed to copy G2 in on his otherwise highly confidential electronic communications. Each week, we present a selection from recent days

To: Hillary Clinton <secretary@state.gov> Subject: Re: spies like us
First priority, cease all cables from embassies until further notice. Second, make amends to UN. Tell them we never intended for our diplomats to snoop. Say we just wanted to get hold of their frequent flyer numbers so that – this is off the top of my head – we could add more miles to their accounts, as a gift, but anonymously, so it's not a bribe. Say it's something we do every Christmas. Lastly, promise Ban Ki Moon we'll never spy on him again, and then find out from our spies whether he buys it. We can weather this. Keep me posted, with full deniability. B

To: John Boehner <john.boehner@mail.house.gov Subject: Russian nuclear treaty
I'm glad we're working together on this thing at last. As we've all learned this week, Russia is basically a dysfunctional kleptocracy controlled by the mafia and led by a psychopath hellbent on enriching himself at the expense of world stability. We need to nail them to some kind of promise while they're still in a position to keep it. This is bigger than politics. America needs us, John. Warmly, Barack.

To: Vladimir Putin <bigman@premmier.gov.ru Subject: warning
Vlad – any minute now your intel people are going to flag up an email from me to Boehner. Ignore it – it's just political stuff. He's scared stiff, and I want to keep it that way. Best, Barack.

To: Louis Susman <ambassador.london@state.gov> Subject: Re: UK going to totally lose world cup bid, btw . . .
Louis – while I appreciate that the normal channels have been compromised, I don't think email is the best way to send stuff like this. We'll sort something else out. In the meantime, if you're sure about it, I'll go $500 on the World Cup venue for 2018, and $200 for 2022 (Qatar? Really? Isn't it, like, the size of Connecticut?). Are you OK placing the bets for me? Michelle hates this kind of thing. B

Are they effin serious?  Students in college who view Wikileaks will seriously hurt their chances of ever having a government job!  Anyone working for the government, even if you already have security clearance to view the contents, will be breaking the law if they view Wikileaks on their home or work computers?  WTF. America?  I'll sit here and wait for you to arrest me for posting about it, I guess!  Is there somewhere on this planet to go to have rights to freedom of speech, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?  We are now a nation of criminals only, except for our government, of course.  How are they going to afford putting all of us in jail and feeding, clothing, and sheltering us all?
