Hiya Members, I went to the land casino on July 4th. Was planning to have a party but the weather here in Chicago was terrible. It rained for most of the day. There was simply no other option but to head to the casino...lmao! I went back to Blue Chip Casino in Indiana. Went to my video poker section and low and behold who was there? THE NON SMOKER FROM HELL!!! At one point she sat 3 chairs away from me. I was praying she had a smoker on each side of her. I was tempted to tell her about my previous post and let her know she is somewhat famous....but i bit my tongue! Our paths never crossed to sit next to one another and i didnt want to ruin my day. I simply avoided her at all costs. I didnt have any luck... lost more than i really should of. My friends were ready to leave because they were busted. I flipped them a few bucks to enjoy the stay alittle longer. The casino was not that crowded at all. The holiday kept most of them at home bbq'ing i'm sure. I had pretty much any seat i wanted. I always try to find a row with as few peeps as possible. I found a nice end seat....put my legs up and kicked back. As i played there was not a soul in my entire row...a row that consisted of 10 or so poker machines. All of a sudden walks up a man who decideds to sit RIGHT next to me! This happens alll the time. Why is it that players who have the entire casino to play at will sit right next to you? Amost everytime i go this happens. Not only in a casino but any public place. A waiting room with hardly a soul around will come and sit right next to you. I'm quite the opposite...always finding the most remote seat possible. Are you a person who sits right next to another person or do u search for a more remote seat. Sometimes i have to admit...i do end up having a good time chatting with some of them as we play....depends if its a player from hell! Lips

Lips: I too look for the most remote seat there is to settle in and play. Sure enough, if there is a dozen other chairs to choose from, someone comes and plops their butt right next to mine. Perhaps the think we are having luck, and the machines that are next to ours are lucky too. I can't quite figure out what they may be thinking. The only time I squeeze in next to someone is if it is busy and there just isnt alot of choice of places to sit. I can't tell you how many times I have said those same words. "With the whole casino to choose from, you have to pick the seat right next to me." It happens to me too Lips........And I have yet to figure it out.

Most folks choose a seat (church, theater, etc) based on personality type. But, in this case it is RUDE. I really can't stand it when someone just SITS next to me while I am playing and they are just SITTING watching me. If they are too obnoxious about it, I ask security to move them along.

hmmm...fish and onion? maybe if he added some garlic and pinch of basil and corriander, he might have gotten your appetite.
LIPS! Did you pass the test? I hope you indulged yourself with not just one but two or even three cigs. Letting the wind grab hold of all the smoke and as the smoke was about to pass that lady...it conveniently stops...leaving the smoke to linger and hover right in front of her...allowing with every breath to be sucked up by her monstrous nostrils. And in doing so..her face...OH that face....the face that would make any man shreak and quiver with chills of disgust...that face would begin to turn green..making her oh more so compelling (Not!)...and as she opened her mouth to yell at you again...u let out another puff smoke straight into her mouth - right down to her throat. As you watch her gag - you politely tell her..sorry but that seat is taken..by anyone but you.

I have to agree, though I did once have someone standing next to me actually "Commenting" about my playing!!
Finally I just sat there for a few minutes and didn't do anything. They stood and stood and stood..Finally they said "Are you going to play?"
I responded (Here it comes!)
"ARE YOU GOING TO SHUT UP?"
They were a bit offended at my response.
I still left a winner (In more ways then the machine) but yeah, people who sit by me and yak away drive me nuts too..If I wanna talk, I'll just hit a local bar.
