I am leaving this site after 5 yrs 2 as a visitor 3 as a Member. The reason gamblers come to this site is for n/d chips, gambling advice, bonuses. So when they read some of the posts a new gambler just looking for the above is going to run. I DID NOT KNOW any of the new members that defended me in posts, and others who think that will have to deal with their own conscience. I did ask for help one time in 3 yrs actually, and irregardless, of the great posts saying they would that was just for SHOW. I did NOT here back from anyone I was Ignored for days. Always remember that you will see the same Members on other sites that you are a Member of  and that the Mods may need a job at another site as the Mods that were here are at FORUM NAME REMOVED, and others. To all of you that I have known for yrs I wish you, luck and good health, kindness and love in your lives.

The new gambler might join this site for the above reasons, but I don't hink so since he claimed to have gambled for nine years. He didn't defend you. He took his chance to be rude and bash the casinos and this forum. Read his posts again and you might see it too. I believe he has been here before...
I have not anything against you but if you take the time and read your own postings for the last two weeks then you might see a side of yourself that you didn't know you had.

I have no friends here. I don't agree with everything but I have seen a positive change in this forum over the years. It can get better but it's okey if it takes some time.
I even likes Zuga now, I didn't before Grin

Obviously, you did not really need any help, even thou lips, zuga were trying to help right away, but nothing was good for you, you just wanted to complain because your main goal was to promote another site which was not allowed here.  We welcome everybody and we care for our members, the newbie you talked about, problly you signed in with a different username.

As in any other community, there are cliques.  It is unfortunate that some may feel offended for not being included in these folds.  The reality is that this forum is an ideal site to explore all available options.  Ideally, one would be able to explore those opinions of others' experience, positive or negative.

And i for one would stand in front of a Mac truck for ya sweet. You are one very classy member and would like to publicly apologize to you for what you have endured here the last couple of days.

That's kind and taken as it was intended, but completely unnecessary. You aren't responsible for other members' words; they are, just as I'm repsonible for my own and my own actions Wink

being kind, respectful and considerate of other members and even of other forums, mods past and present, members past and present i find a very easy and simple thing to do, having patience, tactfulness and being polite pays off dearly... you get what you give either way you go about it..

accepting a warning of inappropriateness is not a big deal, we all do get out of line sometimes, you are respected more by accepting the wrongs with the rights.. take a step back and look at yourself

Don't you think that is a little harsh? I am baffled that the mods even thanked you for that. Flaming a member like that and it is thanked by the administration?  What in tarnation is going on here? This is crazy. What a way to start off a new year.....

Well, I for 1 will miss ya 8's. You and I have always been upfront and honest with each other. We see eye to eye on just about everything. It is a sad day when a member leaves. I come back from a wonderful vacation in Vegas to see 2 members that I truly liked have left. What is up with that?
I can only wonder...

LH,

like you said you were away.  Do some research if you really want to know why or ask lucky8 herself what she did last couple days ago.

Did my research thanks, still think it was harsh! As a Mod, it should have never been said like that. Flaming like that is not supposed to be tolerated by anyone, so I thought....

Perhaps the wording wasn't to your preference, but I personally agree with the message.
Sometimes a moderator needs to be assertive. We all may be created equally, but in some situations, there's a different value for equality (that's why we have leaders, managers, bosses and owners). At the end of the day this is a privately owned site and someone has to have the last word. If a moderator cannot command respect (and a great many here in my opinion have EARNED it) then dissent and unrule..well, rule and there has to be a chain of command. Frankly, I applaud TAAA for at least rising to the occassion and saying 'enough is enough'

There is a difference in being assertive and flaming. Where in Taa's statement does he demand respect? Please, point that out to me.

nobody should have to demand it; especially a moderator (here). Based on ALL the threads, I'm surprised TAA had the strong will to remain so neutral so long
