This post made me laugh.
Do you know I have been singing this song now since I read the post??
Isn't that something when you hear a song and realize you are singing it in your head when you try to go to sleep? It happens to me all the time.
I mean it can be anything, something I don't even particuarly like.  Yet, if I hear it at a certain time, it just sticks in my head.
You'll love this....I drove myself crazy with "Ain't That a Kick In the Head" by Dean Martin last week, as my favorite Dean Martin slot machine plays it when you hit a big win.  Laugh out Loud

Now that's a question I have heard a lot of times, but nobody has an answer!

But here it is (wiki)  "Pompatus means to act with pomp and splendor"

I always thought it would be "Pompous"

Bruce Springsteen - Atlantic City

"Well, I got a job and tried to put my money away
But I got debts that no honest man can pay
So I drew what I had from the central trust
And I bought us two tickets on that coast city bus

Well now, evrything dies, baby, thats a fact
But maybe evrything that dies someday comes back
Put your makeup on, fix your hair up pretty
And meet me tonight in atlantic city"

                                I just love gambling tunes....
     Anybody got any others?                                  PMM2008

The Eagles - Hotel California

One of my all time favorite bands, if only the world could
ever get another band like The Eagles..

Question: What was the meaning of the song "Hotel California"?

"I call you on the telephone
My voice too rough with cigarettes.
I sometimes feel I should just go home
but I'm dealing with a memory that never forgets

I love to hear you say my name
especially when you say yes
I got your body right now on my mind
but I drunk myself blind to the sound of old T-Rex, Mmmmm
To the sound of old T-Rex..."
