My worst fear is waking up to a big hairy spider in my bed.I live by lots of trees and in the wee hrs of the morning i have been known to let loose a shriek of terror to the dismay of my kids.I remember last week it was 3am and i was about to let the dog out back, when i saw the biggest, hairest spider i have ever seen.I made my sleepy eyed son wake up and kill it.I see re runs of fear factor and i cant imagine being put in a tank with spiders .I cant even watch them on t.v.What makes you want to run away in terror?

I think mine is mice. Seeing them run like lightening across the room in my house flips me out. And every Fall when the weather starts to get cold without fail i see one and out comes the dCON.
I remember one time i was sitting in my living room and one came casually walking around on the floor. It obviously had munched on the dCON and i sat there with my feet tucked under me stifled in fear! It wouldn't leave the room and i was like now what?
I was a prisoner in my living room while it sat there an looked around. I knew i had to spring into action cuz i thought it will go sashaying off somewhere else in the house. So i got up enough courage to make a mad dash to the kitchen and through a big pot over it.
Then i called my next door neighbor who came over to save the day and put the little critter outside where it belonged!
That for me was tremendous courage to get that close to a mouse!

I'm with you on the spiders rena. Big or small I don't like the sight of them. Even not seeing them scares me. I know that they're there just lurking. Ewwwwwwwww I saw a big one here and I'm scarred for life. I'll never get over it. It was hanging from the ceiling like a chandelier.

I am in the spider category too... Once when my son was young one of his friends thought it would be funny to put a tarantula in the house to scare him... well, I was home alone and that tarantula came trooping boldly across the floor in my room... I heard it walking, scritch, scritch, scritch, scritch...
Like lips with her mouse, I bolted and got not a pot, but a huge glass tumbler and over the tarantula it went... I swear that I could hear that tarantula screaming in there and trying to tip over that glass. I grabbed a bible from beside the bed and put that on top of the glass just in case.
Problem was, I could still see it in there and proceeded to sit petrified on my bed till the family came home.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God.

Fear of heights. I live on the 2nd floor and that is too much for me. Mostly I fear that something will fall and break. I can't watch other who work at heights, like construction workers. Every time that happens I can feel my heart pumping and I feel sick.

Its quite expected and normal that ppl fear mostly everything that endanger their lives but im mostly terrified of situations where something will directly endanger me and i will not be able to do anything about it. Like airplane crash for example, thats why i never ever travel by plane.
I also hate heights and it seems fate made me deal with this fear quite often throughout the past.
I lived 20 years on 11'th floor with balcony made of couple of metal bars only, as a civil engeneer i had to climb on top of the construction many times to do certain part of my job and my blood would freeze every time i do it, even when i served military i had to jump out of helicopter which has been extremely terrifying experience for me instead a lot of fun.

Oh my... that is terrible, I would rather die and your job drtheolen would make me pass out and throw up every single day. But a strange contradiction is that I love airports (I'd live there) and airplanes, too. I don't mind it, at all.
