that sure was a crushing personal attack i laid out on you...please try to get over it,.....i have read too many of your " i am superior than thou" posts to really give a crap...you are USA bashing and i am tired of hearing about how stupid americans are after we help all the "smart " people in the world..you need to get off your soap box hero.
I strongly disagree with dtsweet's opinion, however, he never called American's stupid. Quite the opposite, he said the jurors were a cross example of Americans and thus fair for the verdict. I think Casey is 100% guilty. Say I'm wrong, how in the hell can a mother get NO charge for failure to report a 'missing' or in her defenses words 'dead' child. I hope Judge Perry makes her pay for the cost of ALL searches since she knew, per her own defense, it was all for naught. |

 Tim Miller, head of Equisearch, is talking with attornies regarding lawsuit against the Anthony's for getting back $112,000 and 4,2000 volunteers searching for someone who was never missing. Jose Bias may also be named in the lawsuit. Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez served papers to Casey today regarding lawsuit for defamation of Character. IRS has contacted Casey for $68,520.41 in back taxes owed. Perhaps Casey will need to take the offer made today to star in a porno. |

Oh, I'm in no way saying Casey is innocent in nature, just innocent in a court of law; she may well be one who slipped through the cracks...but she had her day and she walked

You know what gripes me, dtsweet? One of the jurors has already been offered 6 figures to 'tell all'. What kind of a system do we have when a jury knows they are in a high profile case and a very swift non guilty verdict, in which the jurors slip out the back without explanation of their verdict, to wait for the highest bid. I'm not saying the jurors found a non guilty verdict for that reason, I don't know if any did or not, but something is very wrong with a juror making alot of money on a shocking, for many, outcome. |

As I feel the exact same way with you, dabig and many others but at the same time, I must admit that Sweet has a good point on this matter and there's no way in anyway he is being a cynical or superior...I have known him for a long time and he has always shown the side of truthful, loyal and never hesitate to share his opinion whether one agrees or not.
One must remember, the jury system is severely flawed.
Someone once said (paraphrase) I would hate to be tried by 12 people too stupid to get out of jury duty.
Juries have had major victories and major let-downs, IE OJ Simpson. Karma caught up with him though, 33 years but not for murder.
Trust me, this woman is born-and-bread stupid, she will do something else that will catch up with her; it's not over.
Sweet is correct, people like this gravitate towards reality tv.
If they aren't that interesting, then they turn towards something else not that I disagree with them it's just a fact.
Sweet is also correct saying "we're a generation of gripers and complainers but not a huge generation of 'do-ers'" in the 60s, we protested Vietnam quite successfully but we are very unsuccessful with Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Libya, etc...

Nan, One thing I disagree with.... she was not born and bread stupid. She is one smart gal. Lookie... she got away with murder... got off with not one felonly conviction. Vivid Entertainment withrew their offer. To much of a backlash to their business after the announcement. If a porn company is too scared to keep an offer, I wonder who will be dumb enough too. |

It is terribly wrong a juror can make 6 figures. Heck, if that is known, many will do anything to get on a high profile case just to make a buck... and vote against the grain to get it. |

Heh heh...gabby, you could be right on her being an evil but smart witch...  There are just too many wrongs that we see and hear in a daily basis and makes many of us feel helpless... Caylee was missing reported after 31 days of disappearance and I just don't understand why we don't have any proper law for a parent who fails to report on child missing and if there is one and I am not aware of, please share and let me know. If there isn't one yet, I will be supporting making a new Caylee law. |

They went for high charges and the jurors couldn't name something not on the list. Sickening. |

wasnt she facing fraud charges for some stolen checks?  Was away for awhile but I'm still glued to the TV about the 'what I think is a murderer'. Yes. She did commit check fruad against her friend, Amy. She was sent to jail for that reason and was charged with Murder 1 while in prison. When sentenced for the lying to police charge, she was to get 4 years but gets out on Sunday since she has been in jail 3 years, some of it served for the check fraud. She stole over 100 checks from her mom, stole from her grandma and also grandpa's nursing home funds but they won't press charges. |
