Hi Casino lovers,
Casinos do have a few tricks up their sleeves to entice the player. Besides the frills of comps....there is the pyschological aspect!
Have you ever noticed the wild and crazy patterns in the carpet at a casino...sometimes they are down right garish. There is a motive for that....it tends to bring you eye elsewhere...like straight ahead into the casino.
Clocks are a forbidden evil in a casino. Time flys when your in a casino...if we saw a clock we would whince with horror that we played for 36 hours straight!
Windows........no way....ya wont find a window in a casino...after all you can judge what time it is by the light outside. I know for me i have gone into a casino at dawns early light and when i have left..i'm in shock that its pitch dark! Did i really stay that long...omgggg....where does time go...lmaooo!
How about the layout of the casino...ever wonder why it feels like your going in circles and can't find your way out? That's the master plan....it's built like a maze...every direction you turn....you end up right back where you started.....the casino floor!
Where else can you go that time stands still...where every moment day or nite is one big thrill!!!!!!
I celebrate Bugsy Seigal and the Flamingo in Vegas in 1946...........after all thats my dogs namesake!!!

I guess I am repeating myself here. They have lights blinking and sounds sounding like they do for a reason. There are piles of research about what blinking lights will do to you  |
