The weather here in Northern IL. has been strange too Rena. It's been in the 40's and 50's and that is unusual but from what I hear tomorrow (Thursday) we are supposed to get quite a bit of snow.Blah...I can hardly wait ,time to break out the snow shovels and snowblowers.

It's unusually warm here in the UK. Temps of 10-12C which is usual spring weather. I'm just grateful that we haven't had the 18ft of snow they had in this Austrian ski resort.

The same thing is happening here. I live in northern PA and by now there would normally be snow on the ground, but all we've had is a dusting so far. I like seeing snow in winter, and today it's just bright, sunny skies! Bah, lol.
All that snow at the ski resort is crazy, btw! I would be cautious to drive on that road....

No snow for us in Serbia, either! Which is strange, because we usually get at least some by mid-January... I'm quite thankful it is the way it is at the moment, as I hate ice and cold, but I would like to have a snowy day or two before the end of the winter.

To tell the truth we didnt have a single normal winter here in serbia for last 10 years, its either cold like in Siberia (i exagerate but thats how i feel when abnormaly cold days start) or its unusually warm and dry, in any case there are no more those nice temperate winters full of snow that i remember from when i was a boy. This was also another year i spent without snow for christmas and new year and that really sucks, without snow and that adorable smell of winter nothing can really make me feel like its winter holiday time.

My daughter's back doc has a nurse from B.C. in Canada and when we had her last appt. he had mentioned her telling him about the lack of snow there. Guess it is almost everywhere. I don't mind the mild weather. I am not a cold kinda person.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God.
