I decided against going all out with the Burberry suit with the power tie.  Instead, I ironed my best Khakis, donned a sharp buttoned down Polo shirt, and put on my blue Hart, Shaffer and Marx blazer.  My new Sperry Topsiders were a nice addition, too.

Rev. Denise met me at the door of the parsonage.  This is a house we, the church, bought about 5 years ago.  It is a nice place in a fine neighborhood.  What she wore completely got my attention.  She usually wears basic black/grey business suits with the clerical collar.  But, to my delight she was wearing a very nice blue skirt and a blouse that was modest, but leaves you with the feeling of "I wish I could see more."  She certainly has very nice breasts.  Not too big, but hardly small.  Her arms were toned as if she works out.  She had on gold hooped earrings that looked great with her brown, long hair.  She does not have to wear makeup because her skin is very, very good.  And the best part...she has green eyes which with the brown hair is the enchanting combo that melts me.

Her hubby was in the garage working on some project, but was singing some Dixie song too loud.  Remember, he is obessed with Civil War reinactments.  She was clearly embarassed by this brute and apologized for the "noise."

As we sipped tea, and let me mention it was served in the very elegant Wedgewood ware, she asked some good, thoughtful questions about me.  It was nice because I rarely get asked about myself or my thoughts or opinions.  Hmmm....perhaps her womanly-pastor powers revealed this to her?Huh??

Hubby did come in the study once with a huge oil mudge on his forehead and rather crusty booger hanging out of his nose. She rolled her eyes and told him in a firm voice to clean up.

We talked about the mission to Costa Rica and she was very clear that it would be a hot, dirty place, without much privacy and we'd need to wear short, cool, loose fitting clothing.  The small town where we will be in, El Peje, is quite out-of-the-way.  ***Dave rubs his grubby hands together and says "ex-cell-ent!"***

She then thanked me for coming over and said how much she apprecited me and how gentlemanly I was.  (BONG!)  And I received a lingering handshake.......I returned home and sat in my living room in a stunned condition for over 2 hours.

Now, I am sending her an email tomorrow and inviting her to lunch to discuss financing this mission trip.  A subject I purposely didn't bring up so we would have unfinished business and NEED to meet again!

Stay tuned.

Hmmmm...Another stirring chapter in a story which I cannot think what to name..

I laughed quite a bit..Changing your clothes in the last moment!! Man, sounds more of the feminine side coming out Cheesy

You could finally say to her "Are you as atrracted to me as I am to you?"

Naw, I don't think you'd ever do that..Probably bad taste to say that too. Her husband reminds me of some people in knew in MO..Fun...urk!! types.

I wonder what she saw in him anyway?

Well, keep the hopes up and if they get crushed, we'll all have a drink on LCB.

Doc,

I hung on to your every word. Like a Harlequin romance novel i can't wait til the next chapter!!! I especially like the lingering handshake. Perhaps when you meet again you can give her a soft kiss on her hand as you firmly grip it in a hand shake.

You have to pay close attention to her body language. This will tell you more than any words she might speak. I'm so very excited for the next meeting!!!

I do have one question.....was there a little boing with that "bong"........wink!!

drpsyce38, you have talent!!!! It's really like an exiting novel! Wink the description of her look...just breathtaking!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
I think the most important in this situation is not to hurry! Nothing attracts a woman more than flirting: hints, gestures, eyes contact...Especially a married one! You should make her to wait for each your meeting...
So I'm looking forward to the next chapter of your novel! Wink

Wow - this story is fantastic.

I love the unhurried descriptions of what was going on.  I agree, you should write a "steamy" book....maybe about Rev Denise and you.

I wonder what the ending will be.

Lipps...it was a BOING, actually!

Yes....to all.  This story is one of great inner excitement....and yet one of horrible, deep shame.  I am moved on by flaming lust and riddled with guilt all at the same time......
