I try and live a peaceful life with my animals except for taking care of my parents which lately has been a nightmare.  I found out last nite I need to keep deposit money for emergency purposes to battle unexpected stress and depression.  Last nite out of the clear blue my cell phone rang.  I saw my area code and the 1st number was a 2.  As usual I thought it was my neighbor,  I asked her to call my house phone because I am low on prime minutes because of an emergency last Tuesday with my dad.  My home number rings and said F. A Duck.  Here it wasnt my neighbor, it was my ex girlfriend.  I achieved getting her out of my life for good 1 1/2 years ago.  I know her hubby told her never to call me again.  So, I just listened about her life for 20 minutes and she said she had to go she would call me later.  I received a text and another call 15 minutes later that ended in 2 minutes with her saying she would call me back.  I went back to watching tv then 20 minutes later my home phone rang.  It was my long time and closest online friend Chrissy calling.  We have been as close as 2 people can be 700 miles apart.  We have been friends for 8 years and she is like 13 years younger than me.  She is 42.  She sounded terrible on the phone.  It was normal 4 her to say she just got out of the hospital because she has the worse diabetes there is.  She told me she just got out of the hospital and doctors told her to contact her family and head to hospice she didnt have long to live.  She has a rare lung disease there was nothing the doctors could do for her that her lungs are shutting down.  For God's sake she is only 42.  I just felt totally helpless.  She is all alone in Virginia.  That might have been the last time I ever get to talk to her.  The curse of my ex girlfriend struck again.  Another reason I learned to stick to my animals and not humans.  They dont live long but u get unconditional love, well except for my mini pigs who run around eating, pooping and peeing.
