As some might know, Tom Cruise, John Travolta and Kirstie Alley, all belong/worship/believe in this.
so, what have you ever thought of it?
Personally, I'm satisfied with my beliefs, but havn't heard alot except some stories and some falsehoods.

i really don't know enough about it to comment but i do know some belief is better than none i feel faith is what you believe and religion is how you choose to pratice that belief what ever it may be stay true to it that's my option but then again options are a whole other subject

They are a cult..they have been around for many years. Remember way back the book Dianetics by L. Ron Hubbard ? This was about Scientologists, and him and his involvement. I probably read it in the 80's..so I can't remember enough of it to give you a good picture. But just look up Scientology on google..it should give you enough. I snuck into the backdoor of a meeting they were having in Boston one night. It was a hot night, and they had the backdoor open for air. I was exploring the alley and caught an earful. It was I don't really remember now, but I remember it was pretty messed up. I grabbed my friends, and got the hell out of there.

Scientology is as much of a cult as any other main stream religion . Christians , Muslims , buddist , or Scientologists , who really cares as long as as it helps someone live a good clean life , as it does not affect you in your life... i have a sister who is very religious . but myself i believe everything is just random and there is no high power just life . and everything living is related since at one time we were all a single cell organism . but who knows maybe all those scientist are wrong about evolution and there being Dino's ruling the earth for 100s of millions of years .

Hi Gene,
This is a interesting topic. I think i have looked into just about every religion that is out there. Having never been one who likes to be labeled a specific religion, there is bits and pieces of many religions i believe in.
When asked what religion i believe in, i always say i am spirtual and believe in a high power.
There is some beliefs in Scientology that have intrigued me. For one they believe that we have had many lives....and many spirtual experiences have taken place before we were born here on earth.
The one odd thing i found was the belief that we are actually aliens from another space and time.
It seems to be a secret society and for the most part for the "elite". This i don't find to be very spiritual. All in all........Scientology is not for me.

They certainly have some unorthodox beliefs.....for example, the "engrams" that attach to your soul and needing to purchase an expensive machine, only sold by THEM, to remove the engrams. Fortunately, for them, it has become an elite group, which has kept them financially afloat.
But......hey.....Freedom of Religion!
