Ohhhhh, just babies. Is that an old pic or did you just get them?
Regardless, they are just beautiful and incredibly sweet.
Thanks for sharing them....

I almost started a new topic about pets, when I browsed through some old ones and found this one. I'm sure there are many pet lovers here, and I for one am one of them! Now, here's my Cu (Tzu), while he's begging to get some food...

Mookie, my super chill cat. His baby picture: still had two eyes. His older picture: one eye, after a car hit him...knocked out his left eye, broke his pelvis, fractured his mandible and skull. He's currently 9 y.o.
When he was younger his eyes were blue. Now they're yellow-green. I never knew cats eyes could change colors. This is my first cat.

Meet "Toby" My roommate brought this little guy home after a fare (He's a cabdriver) mentioned him and that they couldn't keep him. 3 years old (We suspect he's been abused) you pick up a stick, he gives you that "Oh, I'm not liking what you're doing" look.
He loves to play tug of war and then after you let him win, he thrashes the sock on the floor. He really has taken to my roomie and seems to tolerate me well (As long as I play tug of war with him 5-7 times each eveing)
He's waiting for me to bring back the sock for more games..Getting this pic took awhile, he doesn't sit still for long!

Hey guys, thanks for all the kind words. Our Cu is now about 2 years old, and he's still hyper-active. However, his life until we adopted him was a pretty sad story. We found him one day tied up to a trash bin with a phone cable, with one of his paws badly injured. We released him and fed him, and he became a favorite of everyone in the neighborhood. Then the winter came, and we started letting him into the building to warm up, but we often let him sleep over in our warm flat, as well. Then one day we couldn't find him, he probably wandered away somewhere.
We were so sad that he was missing (we waited for him to get back for a couple of months, and looked around for him, but in vain), that we started looking on some web pet forums to adopt a dog. And, by some strange chance, we ran into our Cu! There he was, looking at us from our laptop screen, asking to be adopted! But the story doesn't have a happy ending there...
When we called to ask if we could adopt him, they told us that he was sick. He had a highly deadly disease that mostly gets to puppies, and the vets told us that he's got only about 15% chance to survive. In fact, they wanted to put him to sleep, but the girl who had him until we ran into him on the site, didn't let them to. And, miraculously, a few weeks later, he's as good as new!
Then we took him in, and now he's quite a spoiled fatty. What's amazing about him is that he never stopped loving people, not even after they beat him up and tied him to a trash bin. He loves people more than dogs, I can assure you. And he's been the biggest joy in our lives ever since!

That's an incredible story CatFace. Thank so much for sharing it and thank goodness for people like you. @genenco - what a little cutie he is. He looks like a little puppy still. So sweet and another act of kindness. How many animals on this earth would be dead if it wasn't for people like you. @ishin - gorgeous pics of your cat and dog. So sorry you lost your dog - it's very sad especially when they are part of your family. blue

Okay, I'm lacking a camera, but here's my story about Kenny Kinkitty. He moved his g/f in - I call her mama kitty. She had 5 kittens, I think they are all boys! Kenny is white and orange, and showed up whining at my door when he was very little. I had just begun moving in. We shared my first meal-he really liked it but was so scared. It was Chicken Voila. The baby kittens are pretty wild but will come near me when it's feeding time. They look mostly like Mama Kitty and are all named Baby Kitty for now. Mama Kitty is grey with stripes on the sides and spots on the bottom. Two of the babies have "Joy" on their side (or maybe "Toy") in their stripes. They've all got spotty undersides and orangish blonde ears.
I just went out to feed the family, and all the kitties and mama came running up. As I put the food out, here comes Kenny, with a HUGE mouse, freshly caught. He comes straight to me and as I scramble to get outta the way he lets it go! I yelled and ran for the house. Of course, he got it again. He played with letting it go and re-catching it for awhile. I watched to see if the kitties would show an interest. One did come over and try to grab it then sat there watching Kenny. When he started eating it I quit watching.
Kenny has always been a good country cat, but never brought me a present like that before. He's sweet to his girlfriends, too, giving kisses and bringing them over to eat. He got his Kinkitty last name because my last name is Kinman, Jake's is Kinser, and so he's Kinkitty... Well, that's all. Just had to write about the mouse incident to get the adrenaline outta my system!

Hiya Chilly,
My dog did the same thing when she was a puppy. Came waltzing over to me proudly with a field mouse she found in the yard. I think they do that to show off and be praised.
I jumped about ten feet when that happened!!
