Lips...as usual, your insights to the human condition put Dr. Phil to shame! Yes, non-online relationships have a high fail rate too! And certainly, your 10 year observation is a good one. I would say the gap is narrowing, but online relationship still lag behind those who "meet in real life." Finding a partner, on or off line, that one truly loves and cares for an entire lifetime is rare Folks, if you have this.....thank God everyday!

Destiny...I still believe in destiny...I was destined to find the love of my life...and when I did..I was the most happiest..in the most serene place of my life...I honestly could not have been happier...finally I feel complete...
The beginning was a little shaky as I was very skeptical, and have a very hard time with relationships and trust. And so I was hesitant when it came to commitment. I was foolish too, as I listened and was influenced by people saying bad things and that the only reason why I'm here was to be a means of income that would be sucked up until I had nothing, to be left hung out to dry. Thank goodness though, I gathered what I had and had faith and without hesitation - gave whatever was required or requested. Today we have a bond that will never be broken..what I have given..you have given back to me ten fold....and more...so much more....because of you..I am entertained, I have fun..and you have introduced me to friends here on LCB.

Lips...thanks for your kind words! Okay, I will give it a try. How do you make a profile anyway? Not sure I'd be a great catch....other than my trips to Atlantic City, my life is pretty ho-hum! lol. When I tell women I am a single dad, go to church, drive a Chevy Suburban, etc...they tend to go "Oh...ummm, that is like sorta nice...." Then I never see them again! Sort of funny in a lot of ways!

Our resident Doc is as wholesome as baseball, apple pie and Chevrolet! He is educated and always a gentleman. He's planning trip to Vegas this fall...and staying at the Paris! One of the most romantic spots on the strip. Hmmm....could it be a subconsious desire to meet you there? Lips |
