Need prayers please

Hi LCB'ers,

I don't post many personal issues anymore, but I feel I need to reach out and ask for all the prayers my family can get.

My dad (stepdad), is in remission going on a little over 5 years now. He was diagnosed with stage 4 neck and throat cancer about 6.5 years ago. He was strong and fought it and beat it, took everything he had but he did it. I was never more proud of him than I have been these past 6.5 years. He goes for regular checkups and today he seen his regular cancer doctor and the news isn't what him or the family expected.

He has lost so much weight, even though he eats and eats, he's still losing and has this horrible cough thats not related to like the common cold or anything. The doctors are real concerned and has scheduled many tests from now until next Friday. They said the chances of him having some form of cancer back is very high. I ask that everyone please put him on your prayer list. I am a strong believer that God listens and right now it's all we can do, leave it in Gods hands. For those that ask his name is Tim..

Hello Miss T.  Yes, I do believe that prayers do create miracles.  Will pray for the recovery of Tim and also for you and family for strength.  All the best to you and your family.

Tim will be in my thoughts and prayers.  You and the entire family will also be.

Keep us posted and really hoping for the best.  It is so dam hard when person close to you is so ill.

Ask doctors to look at the helium bacteria, i don't know 100% the name, in his stomach!!! It usualy does not show up in any results, but that could be the cause. My aunt lost 30 kg in three weeks, and only after that it turned out to be that little bastards

Rayoflight,,  One of the hardest things a person can go thru is watching a loved one suffer. You and your family can count on me and my family for those prayers.. My stepdad went thru the same thing about 5 years ago, family and friends is what kept us going.

Just found out today that my dads Pet Scan is Wednesday...more prayers than ever my family needs right now. Thank you!!

Stay strong, my friend.  Also ask my daughter to pray with her cell group the recovery of Tim.  I do believe in miracles.

Im sorry to hear that , Hopefully your father's Mr. TIM can recover from the pain he is experiencing, it is a test for humans, so stay firm for your father and all your family, the storm must pass..
