Right here in Oklahoma, there is this wonderful couple who collect donations of cat and dog food and run their apartment like a food bank, but for animals.  They even deliver the food in their own vehicle free of charge.  Sometimes your pet is all you have. Even when the world abandons you, your pet will not.  Great pic

I'd have been happy to donate to that guy, the dog is happy and so is the owner.

Believe it or not, there are people who would forcefully TAKE a animal from a homeless person in the belief that they couldn't care properly for it. I find that so stupid as I have seen people who can easily afford to support animals, let theirs suffer!

That pic is just so precious, it almost makes me want to cry everytime I look at it.  I had to copy & paste it to an email to send it to friends & family, who've all loved it also.

I think that having the dog helps them to get more donations from the public which can only be a good thing.

Now that picture says it all. It is the whole reason i love dogs. Where in the world could you find that kind of love and loyalty? A dog is a guarantee of true love and affection.

Oh Blue... that is the most fantastic, the most powerful picture i have seen in so long, i got chills and tears in my eyes,you think about her family and friends where are they, why are they not helping her.. but there she is with her dog, the comfort, i bet with him she forgets the world can really suck sometimes, and being together is her paradise of love loyalty companionship and loving warm friendship.. WOW
