LMAO... oh those memories.. the words children use can sometimes confuse other than those of being the mother..

When my daughter was about one she began her journey into speech, the words she came up with were sometimes embarrassing and always funny, but in front of your child who is confident they are speaking correctly you don't want to frustrate their attempts by laughing til your jaw aches, so you hold it in with this confirming grin that you understand them.

A few of her words i'll never forget were.. Itchie-Ladas the word for Enchiladas which was her favorite food, strange but she loved my homemade chicken enchiladas, the other was "coochies". Finding this out one day in a grocery store she was adament in attaining "coochies"and repeatingly without fear spoke it loud and clear. I was in another isle and her father was pushing her along another as she began demanding "coochies", he could not figure out why she kept saying this. He quickly finds me, with this embarrassed face and tells me she keeps repeating itchie-ladas coochie to please take her to the restroom to find out whats wrong. I see her with these puppied teary eyes peeking behind her father, she says ichie ladas coochies. I looked at him and had to turn my face away to gain composure as i was going to bust out laughing at his so serious face.. Honey, she is saying she wants Enchiladas and Cookies, shaking my head.. The skill of Baby talk only a mother knows. I thought about writing a book called. Baby Talk for Dummies.. lol

Do any of you have these small, cute words you as a child or child of your own or you know have used?

Laugh out Loud, that is great.  My son used to call his grandmas Ha Jo and Ha Dorothy.   He call the receptionist at the school Mrs. Office because I always told him we were going to the office to wait for his sister to get out of school.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
