I remember the subliminal ads during the "intermission" at the cinema when I was a kid (only because they were highlighted as subliminal some years later) but these are way further advanced.
They surely are an eye opener Lips. I don't know if they have affected how I think or feel as I've probably not even noticed the subliminal part of the ad. Makes me wonder how much there is out there in the advertising world.,

I think it must have some effect... but, I don't really see how they could make me buy something using this method... but, somebody thought this up long ago and it has been studied and tested and I am sure it is still done all the time... to me that means it must work to some degree. Seems to me I remember some advertisers getting their butts in a sling over this kind of thing at some point...

Thanks for bring this to the forefront Lips. There was a dust-up years ago about the word "sex" during the middle of The Lion King, but I never knew it could be this widespread. Very disturbing.  |

Subliminal ads are banned in some European countries, the only problem is that the commissions that analyse the ads might not get the hints on every occasion  However, I think that subliminal ads should be banned, they are playing with the consumer's mind trying to make him or her buy something that he or she might not even need at all. |
