Wnanbee: I guess my rejection of Heaven is based on the multiple generations of we Christians who believe Heaven is the ultimate goal of Christianity. In other words, we Christians have become so Heaven bound we are no earthly good. I really believe the whole Jesus thing has nothing to do with Heaven, rather, a new ethic or paradigm of living life on earth.
Good pic by the way!

"He himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support." ...hebrews 13:5
tell that to the starving children in third world countries, who wouldn't even know what a shoe or toilet was if they saw one!! You know, those kids that end up dying from malnutrition and disease....where is God for those people, where is the love, where is the support, how is letting innocent children suffer considered not giving up or failing them? Just curious, no offence to anyone else or their beliefs....that is just something I've always asked myself when I question the existance of the Lord..............

let's look at it this way; I believe in God and live my life accordingly and i die and was wrong what happens nothing right but lets say you don';t believe and you die and you were wrong Now what happens THINK about that one
in response to that....apparently nothing will happen, God supposedly forgives everyone!

Well, that's a toughie. To consider there was no such thing, would be simply to believe the Bible was completly fictional, that who wrote it all (Or had help) was basically the greatest mind towards fiction ever possible.
I recall the song by Blood, Sweat and Tears. "And when I die"" The lyrics go thusly: "I swear there ain't no Heaven, but pray there ain't no Hell"
But if we as a populace didn't believe, we'd have to then wonder what IS afterward? Some would (As they do now) believe we're a fluke and we'll just go nowhere. Others would have made a choice to believe in SOMETHING good awaits us afterward.
However, none of us will know the answer till we too, take that final step.

"Today, most of the good people are afraid to be good. They strive to be broadminded and tolerant. It is fashionable to be tolerant but mostly tolerant of evil and this new code has reached the proportions of demanding intolerance of good."
