Nalgenie, You better believe I'm ready. I just don't know about my computer. I managed to get 36% free room, but still so slow. Maybe that's just how I'll get mine...just hope I'm awake to see it. And 11 days is a long time. Party sounds good, I'll practice my hula

Hi Guys! Thanks! I am really tired...  stayed up all night practicing, didn't go to work today, so I could play. I told my boss...they understand my priorities over there, nice place!  Anyway, I placed in the Pre Tournament -- The Champion Club Tournament-- It pays the first 200 places. I came in 13th out of 1734. The Big ONE, that I have been waiting for the GLOS- Grand Slam of Slots...I placed 68th of 8034. This one pays up to 500 place, so in the position I am now, it will only pay $500. not a million, so I am going to do a re-buy later when I am not so tired. Also, my computer ran very slow in the beginning, probably everyone in the world was playing, so maybe a rebuy I may at least have a better chance if not for the million, for maybe the $50,000. I think I did pretty well considering how may people are in it. It ends on Nov 2 so I have a little time to rest in between now and then. The excitement of just being in a million dollar tournament is incredible. Don't put your towels away yet!  Like you new pic Lips  Later, Nal |

In the Pre-tournament that lasted for 1 hour I believe only 314 played out of 1700 or so sign-ups. You know I came in 289th. I had complained about their games being slower than other places and was worried about it because of todays tournament. It was even slower than ever. I'm happy for Nalgenie anyway.

Hi Helwin, Everybody doesn't play at the same exact time. So if 1700 people signed up they usually have it broken up for a few hours, sometimes up to 24 hours, sometimes a few days, like the GSOS, where they have 8000+ people. This way everyone doesn't mess up the bandwidth too bad. It doesn't just screw up your computer, but also their server. |

thanks everyone.. I took another day off today to recover. my spot has taken a step back from 68th to 600. I have been doing rebuys off and on at $29.91 a pop, then the same for each continue (3), in between my Head of the Table Tournament, where I am in 15th place. This one ends Sunday. That's my fav video poker tourney for $1000....pays first 100 spots. I need to win these other small ones, so I can afford to pay for all my rebuys..getting expensive! I placed in a couple of small pool sit ins for 30.-45. for 3rd place. Just using this for practice. But never thought I would even do so well. I am catching a tourney bug...I see what you mean Gene!! This is what my eyes feel like Anyway..still have 11 days to get to the top!! Like Pam says...it ain't over till its over!! I am still thinking positive... |
