I've just been watching the news about the terrible flooding in Australia

20 cities and towns cut off - an area as big as Germany and France put together, covered in floodwater.  Poisonous snakes and crocodiles also a problem as the floods continue to rise.  The height of the water will not peak until Tuesday or Wednesday so it is set to be even worse.

I just hope that it recedes soon, that there are no further casualties and everyone is safe.

Thanks for the info, blue.

I'm out of the loop since I spent 13 hours driving to and from a funeral in horrific white out/icy conditions.

Hope the floods recede and everyone is safe and has needed supplies.

This is without a doubt a tragedy...

I saw that the entire population of two towns has been forced to evacuate as water swamped their communities, cutting off roads and devastating crops...
Wishing everyone who is going through such a difficult times, safe and stay strong!

Thanks for the news,blue!
