Hi LCB'ers

After waiting, wondering and speculating Ewalletxpress has FINALLY made an official statement to US players:

“You all may already be aware of the fact that eWalletXpress.com has been out of service since November last year,” reads the statement from eWalletXpress.com.

“At this point we must regretfully inform you that our funds and accounts were seized by the United States government as part of a confidential investigation. We have contacted the US investigating agencies and are currently negotiating with them. At present, eWalletXpress.com is unable to access these funds or return them to you because the money is no longer in our custody or control.

“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Due to the sensitivity of the situation we were not able to notify you earlier and we do sincerely apologise again for any inconvenience you may have suffered.

“We are grateful for your patronage over the years and are trying our best to resolve this issue quickly.”

Does anyone still have funds owe to them?

I deposited all of my cash into a casino two days before the Ewallet raid.  That was a miracle!

I used them all the time.  Luckily I withdrew out long before last Nov.

The problem....all who had accounts with Ewallet are now on US agents' data base!

The deficit???  Health care legislation???  The war???  THOSE r the issues I elect my gov't representatives 2 address.....NOT 2 poke around in where/how people choose 2 deposit their own money... mak it
I talked to my lawywer.  She (and...wow, is she pretty!)  said the US agents shut them down for any one, or a combination of reasons:  1.  suspicious international transfer of funds, 2.  money laundering, 3.  tax evasion, and/or 4. a concerted effort to crack down on illegal internet gambling.

So, at the very least if you had an Ewallet account your name is on a data base WITH all the information you supplied Ewallet.  At worse they could turn your information over to the I.R.S., put you on the "no fly" list or decide to investigate you for illegal wire transactions.  Though, my laywer said (Did I mention she was hot?)  that IF they did that, they'd go after the higher dollar "transactors" first.

In all probability there's nothing to worry about.....but, you sure can't say that with 100% certainty.
