"Guns don't kill people, people kill people..."

In America there are approximately 44 million gun owners in the United States.
 The second amendment, which provides the right to firearms,  has made America a better place to live. The US is one of the few, if not the only nation in the world where citizens have the right to own firearms for personal and common defense,
but with that freedom comes the risk that firearms will be used and abused by someone in a criminal manner. The numbers don’t lie, guns don’t kill people, people kill people.

OKay, and how about this....

       A gun ban in the U.S. would cause a huge increase in illegal-weapons traffic....Guns don't cause violence-but prohibitions do.

Well, I remember from reading history, what a great accomplishment prohibition did for the gangs and that's who'd profit from this.

Your normal .45 glock would be quite expensive and lastly, they'd lose so many jobs that someone might be angry enough to use their "Illegal" weapon to take out the one who started it all.

You'd basically have anarchy as the cops (Even including the entire military couldn't stop all the break in and robberies.

Thus, I say "People kill people" I can do the same with a rock, brick, car, knife, sword or a simple tire iron. Sure, the gun gives distance, but in any case, it's the intent of the person who kills, not what they used.
