Hi Members,

There is always a IM or a Text message abbreviation now and again that will stump me. The other nite i stumped my friend. She sent me a text message and in my reply i said to her "ofc".

After a long delay she comes back and says not even her bf know's what that means and he is an internet guru. She asked me if it meant "oh f***ing Christ"! After i got done laughing for 10 minutes i replied.."no it does not"!!!

I have to admit our dear boss Zuga uses it alot. It had me stumped...so i asked PMM what does "ofc" mean. She kindly replied....."of course"!

Some of the abbrievations can be really tuff to figure out! Here is a few that may stump you:

TFH=The thread from hell. (a topic that just wont die)

TILII=Tell it like it is.

SETE=Smiling from ear to ear.

ROTFLMAOWPIMP= Roll on the floor laughing my a** off while peeing in my pants!

LSHMBH=Laughing so hard my belly hurts!

I just learned this one and is my current fav.......i had to ask what it meant...i laughed for 15 min. (i guess you had to be there)  FFS= for f***ks sake!

Have you ever been stumped with chat lingo?

I'll admit, text chat is ok, for that. What drives me nuts is when I visit AB (Answerbag.com) and I find people asking questions using that format, I usually
tell them to try getting some english classes.

Have had more people comment favorably then not when I post those comments.

I am so lost anyway I'd need a primer to remember many of them and the new ones.
