"I am serious...and don't call me Shirley!" - We say goodbye to Leslie Nielsen. For the story from TMZ: http://www.tmz.com/2010/11/28/leslie-nielsen-dead-dies-naked-gun-police-squad-airplane/He died November 28, 2010. Usually when celebrities die, the radio and tv stations around here start predicting who will be next, and say they always happen in threes. Well, I'm not encouraging that, here, but I won't discourage it either if it eases the grief. I was just trying to get a spot where we can talk about celebrity deaths and celebrate the good times we had with our stars. Leslie was 84 years old.

Not only are they in 3's, there is usually and "old" a "sick" and an "unexpected".

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God.

I remember watching old reruns of Leslie. He did good in the serious roles but in Comedy was where he shined like a beacon. He even admitted he liked it better then his previous serious roles...I think we lost a great skit/comedy actor

Goodbye, Dandy Don! Don Meredith, an all-pro quarterback who made his greatest impact on the game after he finished playing, died Sunday at a Santa Fe, New Mexico, hospital, according to a spokesman. He was 72. MSNBC has announced he died from a brain tumor.
