I kinda have an obsession with the whole Kennedy clan so i started to read e-book - Rosemary. Sister to JFK, she had a surgery that left her mentally disabled. A surgery that doctors warned her father about but he risked her well-being anyway and resulted in terrible results. Just another event in the "Kennedy Curse".

John Grisham
Touchdown
Not a thriller, great book about an American footbal player in Europe, well written. The very, very untypical John Grisham. For me a big nice surpise.
I read "Playing for Pizza" writen by John Grisham - story about ex NFL Quarterback who come to Parma/Italy and play for Parma Panters.... Great and fuuny book.... -

Let's continue to discover Russian literature.)))
And Quiet Flows the Don by Mikhail Sholokhov.
In 1965, Sholokhov was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature for this novel.
The novel deals with the life of the Cossacks living in the Don River valley during the early 20th century, just prior to World War I.
Recently re-read. A great book. -

Last night Judith Butler had a lecture in The Cultural Center of Belgrade. I have a huge respect for her and her work so I was very honored to attend it and see her live.
So if you are into philosophy and would like to have your ideas challenged I would recommend "Gender Trouble" (Feminism and the Subversion of Identity). -

I will recommand Papillon by Henri Charrière, it is a self-biograf.
He was wrongly convicted of murder in France and sentenced to life of hard work on Devil`s Island, a penal colony in French Guinea. He escaped from there and settled down in Venezuela.
I read the book for over 30 years ago, and I will never forget it -

Hmmmmm, I recently finished Gone With The Wind. Amazing amazing amazing. Margaret Mitchell has a way with words. Anna Karenina has been mentioned and is a favorite of mine. Of Mice and Men is wonderful and sad. How Green Was My Valley is always one that gets me right in my feels. I love horror and will read anything by Anne Rice or Stephen King. The Shining and The Stand are two of my favorites.
