"Procrastination refers to the deferment of actions or tasks to a later time."
"To put off doing something, especially out of habitual carelessness or laziness."
 "To postpone or delay needlessly"

Hi gang: Smiley

Anyone else out there a procrastinator?  Sad

Putting things off to a later time when they could and should be done now?  Embarrassed

I am so guilty of this. I wait till the last minute to do almost everything from pay bills, getting an oil change, to Christmas shopping. HAHA  I just don't like to be rushed into anything.

I must admit, waiting till the last minute is not always the answer. Yet a good number of us do indeed do just that.

Would be interested in stories of serious procrastination. Shocked

Please don't procrastinate when replying to this post.  Wink

My stories of procrastination are always connected with any cleaning! I can plan to do the washing for a week or so...I put laundry not in the bathroom, not into the flasket, but on a visible place (usually it an armchair in the living-room). I do it on purpose just not to forget! But it still doesn't work!  Cheesy

I think if you look under the definition of 'procrastinator' in the Webster dictionary, it will have my name and a photo of me  Sad  But, as Lips said, I too, do my best work when I have a deadline to meet (by my own procrastinating doing) and in some sick way, I guess I enjoy putting myself under this completely unnecessary stress!

I know I need to get a good running start, so I can get my brain and my body to work together. And I need to finish it once I start. What's sad is, thats how I gamble.
