In this place there are two picturesque Sea - Baltic and the North, but at the same time, they do not mix. Even different color waters of the seas and the effects seem to be enough almost unbelievable. This oceanic phenomenon causes a lot of controversy. The vanishing point is located in the province of Skagen, Denmark. Because of the different densities of sea water, they stay on their side of the "border" and do not mix, not yielding to each other.

Caño Cristales (English: Crystal Spout) is a Colombian river located in the Serrania de la Macarena province of Meta. The river is commonly called the "River of Five Colors" or the "Liquid Rainbow", and is even referred to as the most beautiful river in the world due to its striking colors. The bed of river in the end of July through November is variously colored yellow, green, blue, black, and especially red.

Fire Rainbow - One of the rarest and most stunning optical phenomena in nature.

Wow!,i never saw something like that before,amazing picture,looks almost like northern lights.

It is a result of the melting glaciers being composed of fresh water and the ocean has a higher percentage of salt causing the two ocean bodies of water to have different densities and therefore makes it more difficult to mix. (c)

This is a 27 year old photo which was made in Alba Iulia City from Romania.Here you can see how they moved the A2 building.This image is considered one of the most amazing made in history.

That's an amazing picture indeed Edi. I've rad about it, and moving the building even was cost-effective. It doesn't happen often.

Heroes Cross is a monument built between 1926-1928 on Mount Caraiman, at an altitude of 2291 m, in memory of the heroes who fell in the First World War. At the base of Caraiman peak lies the town Buşteni. The cross has a height of 28 m and two arms with 7 m each.

The Door to Hell
In a story that recalls the creation of the Fly Geyser, the Door to Hell in Turkmenistan's Karakum Desert has been burning brightly for over 40 years, ever since geologists tried to burn off natural gases discovered when drilling at the site. 

Great pic.  I watched a programme on TV recently that spoke of this huge error that was made.

Treehotel Mirrorcube. A tree hotel in the far north of Sweden, near the small village of Harads, close to the Arctic Circle. A shelter up in the trees; a lightweight aluminium structure hung around a tree trunk, a 4x4x4 meters box clad in mirrored glass.

Aogašima - perhaps the weirdest place for people to live. It is located on the island of the Philippines Sea tropical volcano inside. The last time the C-Class recorded a volcanic eruption in 1780, when part of the population died. 50 years later, the survivors returned to his homeland, but now live on the island about 200 brave.




Greenland infinite snow and glaciers in the middle of a small village Isortok, with a population of 64 inuits. Harsh winters of the past they had to subsist exclusively from meat, but now there is a supermarket (shown in the foreground), which you can buy mayonnaise and ketchup to seals would be tasty.

Lake Kaindy near Almaty, Kazakhstan was created as the result of an enormous landslide, triggered by the Kebin earthquake of 1911. It is famous for being a so-called “sunken forest”, a ‘forest’ of dead trees whose trunks remain upright, half-submerged.

The 22-dome Transfiguration Church which no nails in Kizhi. Kizhi is an island near the geometrical center of the Lake Onega in the Republic of Karelia(Russia).

Tthe Sphinx. It is virtually a cliff 8 meters high and 12 meters long which was sculpted by wind over time, and now looks like the Egyptian Sphinx head. Located at a height of 2,217 meters on the Bucegi, it is a great place for some lovely photos, especially if you are lucky and have a clear sky.

It is!  Amazing what you can do with a small plot of land.

Fort Boyard on the west coast of France, suggested as early as the 17th century, it was not until the 1800s under Napoleon Bonaparte that work began. Fort Boyard is oval-shaped, 68 metres long and 31 m  wide. The walls were built 20 m  high.

Lake Sfânta Ana is the only crater lake in Romania located in the volcanic crater of the volcano named Ciomatu Mare of the Eastern Carpathians, near Tușnad in the Natural Reserve of Mohoș, Harghita County, Romania. Palynology studies concluded that the history of Lake Saint Anne began about 9,800-8,800 years ago, at the stage of peat bog and shallow lake.

Olt Valley is one of the most picturesque areas in Romania , being located on the Lower Olt River , which crosses the Skull Mountain , Lotru and Fagaras Mountains , creating a beautiful gorge , the largest in the country, ranged from Turnu Rosu tails , over a length of 47 km.

''Volcanoes muddy'' formations are created by natural gas from more than 3,000 meters deep , passing through a clay soil, in combination with water from groundwater .

The Danube Delta is the second largest river delta in Europe, after Volga Delta, and is the best preserved on the continent.
It is a great place indeed.

Rodna Mountains  are a subdivision of the Eastern Carpathians in Northern Romania.

They are downright impressive. You can see that in this picture.

Its real island on Maldives

The Great Blue Hole, located just 100 kilometers (60 miles) off the coast of Belize, is an underwater sinkhole that researchers believe is the largest of its kind.

Camogli is a small Italian fishing village Portofino,province of Genoa on the Italian Riviera.

This view is downright impressive. I hadn't heard of this village, really awesome so far. If I visit Italy I will definitely go there.

Red Lake is a barrier lake in the Eastern Carpathians chain in Harghita County, Romania. The name of "Lacul Roșu" comes from the reddish alluvia deposited in the lake by the Red Creek.
