Hi Gang:
Picked my friend up at the airport today as she returned from Florida.  She was sharing with me some of the prices of food at the airports. Laugh out Loud  I about died.

Airports know they have you. Your starved, and waiting for your connecting flight.  What are you going to do. Your a captive audience. Laugh out Loud

Muffin $3.00-$4.00
Bottled Water $2.50-$3.00
Turkey Sandwich w/pickle $$9.95 (must be the pickle)
Box of cereal $9.00  (who buys a box of cereal at the airport?)  :-\
1 Apple or banana $1.60-$2.00
1 Beer  $5.75 (Ouch)

What is the most outrageous price you've paid at a airport for food?

Goodgawd... 9 bucks for cereal.. what about the milk lol?
I bet that price for the muffin is for the stump only, prolly extra for the muffin top!

You know what gets me is now they charge for your carry-on bag... i think the bag should get a free drink, headphones, and peanuts too then!

Unbelieveable your airfare doesnt include your bags anymore.  Like who the hell travels with no bags? Laugh out Loud

It just makes everyone carry on the absolute most they can without getting in trouble.  Maybe it would just be cheaper to buy another seat for your bags.  HAHAHAHAH

Imagin. . you get peanuts when you fly? Headphones? Free drinks?

They dont serve that stuff when your seat is on the wing of the plane. hahahahah

I remember once i got a tiny bottle of whiskey, and blue colored doritos.. I still have them lol

After i drank the whiskey i thought the blue doritos was some kind of knock out chips and i would be high-jacked to some strange desert island and left there... hahaha.. i kept those thoughts to myself, but it did keep my mind off flying

You mean there are airports you can STILL smoke in??

(Last time I flew (2003 I think), I had a stopover in Dalls/Ft. Worth, half the plane went for the exits and everyone lit up!! Smiley )
